Welcome To Pacifica Quilters

Here is some History on the Pacifica Quilt Club

The Pacifica quilters was organized in the late 1978 and met for more than 20 years and the community room at Sharp Park Pacifica library.  The group was re-organized in November 1995 and changed their meeting location to the community center on 450 Crespi Drive.  The Pacifica quilters met from 10 to noon every Thursday at the community center to accommodate working quilters, they also met from 7 to 9 PM on the second Thursday of each month to accommodate the people that were working

Pacifica Quilters lovely sewed for their hometown when they collaborated on a beautiful red white and blue quilt to be raffle to raise money to restore Pacifica landmark the little brown church.  The quilt was named United We Stand the quilt contained a signature square that states created by the Pacifica Quilters as a benefit to save the little brown church during the patriotic year of 2002

The Pacifica Quilters did a great deal of community work they made quilts for Seniors-In-Action, Lioness, Saint Anthony stitches for the homeless, quilts for preemies quilts for Lucille Packers children's Hospital Stanford and the battered women sheltered

One of Pacifica Quilters projects was  they made and sold items with the proceeds going to the New York fireman widow and children's fund.
